M.I.S.S. NEON ADIDAS PHOTOSHOOTTT!

i am sooo sad I do not have a camera.
Cus seriously! I am missing out on soooo much i could b taking pictures of!

So, I will start with last night and my inSANE nose piercing! I thought since it was 2 months after i got my nose pierced that it be ok to take it out, clean it and put it back in. Well, I did and tried to put back the stud and it was soo oeffin difficult! FML it took like 30 minutes to put back in. Bc it was a hook shape i had to bend it sideways and all which ways to get it in. oMG i freaked out! i ws like oo shoot its gonna closeee if i dont get it in! but i did! nooo. i wiill NOT take it off ever againn. Unless i find a new stud to put in. ughhss.

Anyway to move on! I tell taht story because that incident declined my sleep for an hour cus i had to wake up at 5 in the morning! GAHHH! so i basically only had one hour of sleep! So i got all ready and everything. got on bart and took the T for the first time! Ahhh it was scary because the directions had said to take the K/ T (i didnt know what that meant!) buttt I saw the T was going to third street, so i thought. Hmm maybe i should take that since the directions said. So i took it not knowing where i was going and i was really scared i was gonna get lost. But i guess i went the right direction. the T train goes behind the ball park towards HP i think lol. So i got off the stop and walked towards the building where i met up gabriella and a model. And the building we went to was actually the headquarters/ distributor place of Upper Playground (since gabriella works for them). DANG it was soooo tightt! The building doesn't look that big but once you enter, they are huge warehouses! wowzers it was tight. So my first job of the day was to open the front door for the other interns/ model/ photographer.
So i got to meet Liz finally, she is hella spunky and cool. i like her style and creativity! She is so dope and came up with the ideas for the adidas bows out of clothes! so tighttt!
I also met fellow interns, susan, a writing intern, she's going to cca in the fall for an MFA and elizabeth, she's from san jose and she's a certified nail tech!
Also I met Alex, one of the models that actually goes to CAL too!
And Santi, the hairstylists! She is soo dope. During the photoshoot we started talking! She's originally from the city but she has a place in NY and she spends one week a month there! And she's planning to go to London in the fall to go to needle point trade school, needle point for high end shtuff like LV and gucci! Her plan is to work her way in the fashion shows as a labor seamstress and get to know the designers and then start doing hair for them! DUde she has things so well thought out and she is SUPER talented! her hairstyles were so different and HOt. she is real good. She studied art in thailand for 4 years! amazing and we were talking about religious art and how western religious art is silver (cold)based while eastern religious art is gold (warm) based. So i was telling her that i planned to study abroad in france in the coming semester and i really wanna meet her up if i go to england! that would be tight.. and she said that she could drop my name to her friend that is a french designer and maybe intern for her in the fall! dudee that would be dope! i hope it works out though. the French designer is currently here, wit an intern from france! lol. that is tight. Anyway, back to waht i did that day

So! my first job was to steam clothes. Adidas had sent 3 sets on neon track suits (green, yellow, orange) and i had to take tags of, label them, and use the steam thiing helped to unwrinkle them! it was tight bc it really works well! I never done it before! but i felt really lauren conrad when i did! lol! After steaming i helped clean the neon adidas shoes and relaced them. Then I helped paint nails for the models with neon polish. It is actually alot easier to paint fake nails! and it was fun, filing and preparing. Also i helped liz with alot of preparing the clothes, so helping her hold clothes and helping her hold the wire hangers to make the bows. then it was on to the photoshoot, where i held props like neon poles and sticks in the background while the girls took the shots. After holding the poles, it was more watching the shots and preparing the new shoes.. putting socks and shoes on models, steaming more clothes, It was a blur from there, cus i was getting tireddd and i remember eatingyummy yummy food like humus, veggie chips, focacia, carrots, cinnamon cookies, lots of grapes delicious! Before i knew it, the shoot was almost over. Alex was a great model, she knew what to do, The other girl savanahh was hella young 15 years oLD! she needed a little more direction, but i think she was just new at this stuff. It was funny too, bc the whole time the photographer (just a little on the hipster weird side) and liz/ g were sorta butting heads on how the models should pose and what not. they were going at it, in a nice way. HAH it was funny. Lots of cleaning up! and also got to see the news board of the new upper pg stuff.... koo kooo.
I'm so grateful for this experience!! a great foundation and way into styling and etc.! so excited.

O and i talked to G and ima def start helping out in the summer yee yee! canit wait, but i gotta tell uncle sam and auntie nori.

After was JJs dinner party for his grad! Super fun to catch up with everyone. And caked flied everywhere haha cream fight! everone getting piercings too! wow! how fuN! like mike with his inner ear and sophia with her tragus.! yeeee

Ok the end! Another great event! can't wait to update on more!
